I down loaded MMA 1.01.0071 over the weekend (Feb 1st). I am running MMW 4.1.0.1609, which I downloaded a week ago knowing I wanted to try the new android app.
My first down load to the phone was exciting. About 100 songs, everything looked cool. Then I decided to go for it. My phone said I had about 7.2GB free so I created a Playlist that had 7.0GB of music (~1,260 songs). But then …
Not sure what my mistake was but all of a sudden I was trying to sync my entire library. (54.7GB, over 10,000 songs). I couldn’t figure out how to stop the process. My phone went over capacity, but the sync process continued. On and on and on…
MMA thinks there are over 500 albums of music on my phone (which is crazy). That is my whole collection!!??!!
I have tried a number of things to recover the capacity on my phone:
1) I attached with USB to my computer and deleted all the songs with Explorer. (not sure why … but that didn’t help?)
2) Went into phone: Settings > storage > “Erased all Data" (still didn’t help)
3) Deleted MMA 1.01.0071 and re-installed from Google Apps, MMA 1.0.098
I figured this had to re-set my phone. But even trying to sync a small file of 30 songs I get the following error message:
“There isn’t enough space on device to sync the selected file”
Can someone give me an idea on "How to reset my Phone".
Delete Songs from Phone and Start over??

Re: Delete Songs from Phone and Start over??
Besides MMA being out of date when you started (latest from Google Play is good thoug) you're still using an outdated MMW as the latest build is 1623.
To delete, check if your device comes with a file explorer (otherwise install one) and delete the Music, Video, Playlists and MediaMonkey folder on both internal and external (if present) memory. Note that these are the default folders and can be changed by user (if you did delete whatever folder(s) you configured).
