Now Playing wrongly populated after sync

Post by mcow »

I had a 13-track album in Now Playing that had paused about halfway thru the last track, yesterday evening. This morning I updated the sync list, removing that album and adding several new ones.

After the sync completed, I noticed that Now Playing was showing one of the songs I had just downloaded. I looked at the list: there were thirteen entries, taken variously from two of the albums just downloaded, and the last item was shown as pause about halfway thru.

I don't know how, exactly, these particular tracks came to be in the Now Playing list, but it seems obvious to me that if tracks in Now Playing are removed by syncing, those tracks should be removed from Now Playing. Substituting them - and particularly, substituting a track which has been "started" and maintaining that entry's pause-point - is no good.
