I downloaded around 1000 tracks via USB with MMW 1638 over the weekend. I used MMA 127 to download via wifi around 100 that were already on the device. This was not the expected result as the file conversion is the same for both USB and wifi. That should probably be checked out at some point, but my concern is that when playing some of these files today, it appears that the wifi versions were not copied correctly. Listening to the USB tracks, I have not heard any issues, but the wifi versions are cut off in the middle and sometimes a dialog pops up saying "unreadable format" or something similar. I suspect the phone was moved during the transfer and some files got corrupted. Does MMA check the files after transfer or does it just assume things are correct?
I have noticed that some tracks even with USB transfer are clipped at the very end (up to 3 seconds). I assumed this was related to the file actually ending a second or two early (due to how CD tracks were defined) or perhaps the output plugin somehow kicking in (it's set to clip silent leading/trailing portion of tracks). I will want to figure this out at some point, but I'm primarily concerned that the wifi is only sending half a track sometimes.
MMA sync: validate files?

Re: MMA sync: validate files?
So far I've only wifi synced and I haven't noticed any issues with the tracks. Could wifi be cutting out? Maybe a MMW debug log will show more: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... f=21&t=341 (send it to support).

Re: MMA sync: validate files?
Any chance you are using a samsung phone and are syncing to an external memory card? It's an issue with certain models and I've verified it happening on 2 different skyrockets.

Re: MMA sync: validate files?
No, not Samsung but yes it is an external SD card. I updated to 129 yesterday, but since wifi sync was still broken, I could not test this. I dropped back to 127 and there were no abnormal entries in the log (from a quick scan...but then I don't know what one would look like
