MP3 (+ WMA) tracks sent to MM from Windows Explorer right-click context menu via 'Play', 'Play next' or 'Play last' are ALWAYS queued up twice in my Now Playing list (also occured in previous MM version). Problem is consistent with single or multiple track selections in Explorer, regardless of track having been tagged or scanned/entered into the MM library or not. Problem does not occur when file-types that are not associated with MM are played from the Explorer context menu via the 'Open with' dialogue. I see other users have reported same problem w/ other MM and Windows versions but no replies/solutions have been posted.
I am currently running MM gold, build 2.5.1.934 (no customizations or extra plugins) under WinXp Media Center Edition 2002 (OEM version 5.1.2600 SP2, build 2600) on a Dell XPS Gen-4 PC with Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS (WDM) PCI sound card
tracks played from Explorer context menu always queue twice

Debug Log
Jiri,
I created a debug log of this problem. They lines where the song gets added to Now Playing read...
[2760] MP3: Going to read tag from D:\Music01\ALANIS~1\JAGGED~1\11-Not the Doctor.mp3
[2760] MP3: Tag read from D:\Music01\ALANIS~1\JAGGED~1\11-Not the Doctor.mp3
[2760] Player: Adding track D:\Music01\Alanis Morissette\Jagged Little Pill\11-Not the Doctor.mp3
[2760] Player: Adding track D:\Music01\ALANIS~1\JAGGED~1\11-Not the Doctor.mp3
Seems like something related to the 8.3 and long filenames??
The full debug log is available here:
