I would greatly appreciate drag-and-drop in to MM Playlist/Track List. (The GUI already creates a drag-in line, but just doesn't allow the drop functionality.)
I think this request could be accomodated by running a check before dropping to verify the dragged files (based on file structure location) exist in the MM library. (I would certainly be happy to take the hit to processor usage while MM verifies the dropped are files are in the database.)
For rationale to add this feature, see thread on Predixis (great for automatically creating/mixing moods and styles.) More generally, added flexibility is always good.
Thanks for considering. It really would be very helpful.

Drag and Drop support In to Playlists/Track List

MediaMonkey supports drag&drop into the Now Playing list. Maybe it should support it for dropping into the library so only that song is added.

Another thread pointed me to the drag&drop into Now Playing, but as far as I can tell, that doesn't work if I use Winamp as my player. Right?Lowlander wrote:MediaMonkey supports drag&drop into the Now Playing list. Maybe it should support it for dropping into the library so only that song is added.
My hope is that we'll be able to drop in to Playlists. (In my case, the songs are already in the MM Library, and the mix I want to drop is just the semi-random selection from MusicMagic Mixer.)
A workaround might be to export to m3u from MusicMagic and import them into MediaMonkey.
