Confused about file copying from within MM

I created a playlist of about 1500 songs and copied it to my ipod.

The playlist then oddly vanished from MM. No idea why.

Anyway, I have the mp3 files on my ipod, and all of them play so the playlist copied successfully.

I've plugged my ipod into my comp and am viewing the playlist in MM.

The problem is that I am trying to copy them to my computer so I can rebuild my playlist in MM. I select all the files in the playlist view for my ipod. Each time I copy them, only 173 files appear in the Windows folder. I have tried a few times and have no idea why only 173 files copy when all 1500+ songs are in the playlist.

I'm using Send to > (Folder Copy)

Can anyone assist?
