Album art with leading space in folder name isn't shown

Post by BudeII »

This problem can be described simply but believe me it wasn't easy to find out!

Although the Windows Explorer always removes leading spaces from a folder name it easy to create such an name via the command MKDIR " abc" I'm always using to create my various album folders. Usual Media Monkey functionality works fine and music files in such a folder can be played and the space indside the path is also shown in the various MM windows. During the import of that files MM detects the album art also but can't display the pictures afterwards. Importing the pictures manually is possible but after switching to another puicture they're never shown again.

It seams that MM uses that folder name without the leading space because after removing that space from the original folder name and without any change inside MM the picture is shown but now the songs have to be imported again.

Happens also with the latest version (2.5.3.954) of your fantastic program! :D I'm running MM under XP Prof. SP2 with the latest patches. I'll send you some test data in a minute that should show you shows this very clear.
