IS this a bug? On Random Shuffle, hitting back track...

Post by Bug from Micronauts »

When I am playing all my music in a great big shuffle, I might want to listen to the song I last listened to again but when I hit back it takes me to the previous song in the ordered structured list. Next track is still random, backtrack has no recall but tied to regular order. For example I just heard Hot Lips Page's You'd Be Frantic Too and the shuffle next takes me to Janet Klein singing Banana In Your Fruit Basket. I want to go back to You'd Be Frantic Too but hitting back takes me to Janet Klein singing If I Can't Sell It I'll Keep Sitting On It. Is this a bug or how it is intended to be?

Currently its as designed.

Random will play random tracks from the 'now playing' list. It does not track forward/backward history.

What you can do is shuffle the now playing list instead of shuffle the player.

IE, play normal/sequential, simply shuffle the playlist---> Edi -> Randomize list.

Trixmoto's "Back Button" script is what you need: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8483
