With DLNA, I sometimes have the playback stop mid-list or even mid-song, but that's because the Wi-Fi connection times out.

I get something different then RDoc does, if i pause mma when the screen is locked
If i just unlock the screen mma starts playing the song again, ( i thought this was normal action )

can you reproduce it even when playing local tracks, i.e. not over WiFi?

That really sucks. As mentioned in post above, I haven't seen this since 104. Now on 121 and still playing well. My GS3 is android version 4.2.1. I am wondering if that might be the problem .. Hope they can find the reason

I'm having the same problem with build 121 on a Moto Atrix 4G build 4.5.141.MB860.ATT.en.US Android version 2.3.6.

I've seen this consistently when my Atrix is plugged into the Moto cradle which has both charging and speaker connection and I'm listening to either an NLDA supplied album over WiFi. I've also seen it when unplugged on battery power and using earphones. What seems to happen is that it plays while the screen is on and finishes the current song being played, but won't continue to the next one if the screen turns off. Waking up the phone restarts the playback even without doing anything to MM.

I still had problems after 104, but preliminary testing shows that 106 does not have the problem. Will be testing for longer periods and headphones, car etc plugged in .. but so far so good. Yeah!!

Thanks Jiri for the heads up. Just installed 104. I will report back with any issues.

After installing 104...no skips, pauses,etc...it's all good in the hood!

I just wanted to confirm that I to am experiencing this problem. I have a SGS3 running Cyanogenmod Jellybean, and have also noticed that when I'm at the gym, and MMA is playing with the screen off, MMA will frequently STOP playing when transitioning to the next track. I too noticed that when I turn the phone on it will continue playing, but not always.

Hope this gets fixed!

For me it is not necessarily when using headphones but most noticeable in the car as that is where I use the phone the most to play music. My phone is plugged into the aux jack using a cable with mini to rca jack.

This problem might not start showing up after the first song but it will start shortly AFTER the screen times out.

Just as I started typing this I unplugged my phone from computer, started MM and started playing Aerosmith ... something to help speed up my typing . The screen went blank part through the song then when the song went blank there was approx 15 seconds of nothing before the next song started.

After the second song, Big Mama Thornton-I'm Feeling Alright, there has been a 30+ (before typing this bit in) pause and still pausing. Neither of these songs have long intros/exits.

So after waiting another 30 seconds I pressed the button and MMA started playing again The Band-Jawbone. Another song with no lead-in.

So currently this has nothing to do with anything being plugged in.

Do you have a 'debug version' of mma that actually tracks everything that is happening including pause time that can be used to build a report for you? I would be happy to run same for you.

Note that I really have very few routines running on the phone that I have added, at least 'background' type routines.

Let me know if other information is needed

I can't reproduce this issue - what I tried: On Galaxy S3, plugged in two different headphones (with and without remote control), started an album and left the phone playing while turning the screen off. There was no issue, playback continued for many tracks.

Any idea of specific steps to reproduce? Specific headphones?

Getting the same pause-between-songs issue when the phone is 'sleeping' and plugged into an audio output. Samsung GS3. On Build 100 but has happened with previous builds.
