I'm using 5.0.3.2627 on Windows 10. Suddenly much of my artwork has disappeared from albums. And when I manually added by Lookup (which only found a couple), or Browse (and then downloaded jpgs of covers from the internet to use) and then add them, I click Add to all Selected as well as Add to all files in the album. I then see the cover pop up in the lower right corner but after closing the Properties button, there is still no artwork showing in the album. I have to open Properties again, go to Artwork and there it is, with Add to all selected unchecked. Once I check it again, then it finally updates the album.
After fixing numerous albums last night that i just happened across, today I decided to use the Node Files to Edit and then chose Missing artwork. There were 3 tracks of an audiobook listed. When I checked Artwork under the Properties tab I could see it there, so clicked Add to all selected and it updated. Later in the list I found the entire audiobook (all the tracks including the ones I'd already updated) and this time there is NO artwork associated with it and when I try searching for it, it's completely gone.
Before I keep working on downloading art and fixing all these I want to know that they are going to stay associated with the files! At one time, months ago (the last time I worked on my music files) everything had associated art. Last night when I discovered it (only b/c I was missing a lot of art on my phone - android app is another huge problem) about 30% of the albums were missing art.
Once I find an image, it was defaulting to Save to tag if possible; otherwise save to folder. I am now having it save to tag if possible AND save to folder.
