Hi, I just installed and tested MediaMonkey_2024.1.0.3110_Debug.exe and the issue is gone, thumnails are generated properly.

Quick fix for users should be installing codec pack - MM5 one or LAV Filters.

I updated my drivers and the issue persists. I just created a support ticket and submitted a debug log to help track the problem.

It seems to be some problem related only to some drivers and system, as we cannot reproduce. I would need more specific debug log. Please insert this problem as support ticket, I will send you instructions and we will try to figure it out. Thanks.

Also do you have https://www.mediamonkey.com/addons/browse/item/mediamonkey-5-codec-pack/ installed (trial is enough)?

Developers may also want a sample file for which this happens.

Yes, no problem playing the files. Also If I play the video and save the thumbnail using the right click menu, it is created correctly.
