That's great news.

I seem to have fixed this. I copied the persistent.json file from the portable install to the AppData of my original version and the option has reappeared.

As a new user you need to add a space before the .com as you don't have rights yet to post URL's. So with a changed persistent.json the issue persists? Did you see certain settings change after you renamed it?

Can you try a separate fresh Portable Install (select in installer), does it have the same issue?

Sorry still doesn't work.

I get an error message trying to post the image You don’t have rights to post image, email or url links that are external to this domain.

Please can you add screenshot of that dialog? (see my signature on how to do that)

In that case try this:
- Close MediaMonkey
- Rename persistent.json to persistent.json.old
- Start MediaMonkey

Does it work now?

Does modifying the size of the window get the options back?

Sorry, the issue is that the option box isn't there to tick. I've been importing for years but the option has suddenly vanished. I have an image on my Google drive https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NDQUjO ... p=drivesdk

Hi,
Specifically for iTunes you need to export iTunes library to XML as current iTunes library is encrypted and do not allow third party apps like MM to access it.

When I select Add/Rescan files, the Import Files...from other applications box appears unchecked. When I tick it the option to select Windows Media Player or iTunes does not appear and when I scan, files but no playlists are imported.

Windows 11, MM 2024.2.1.3213
