str = FixGenre(ele.ChildNodes.Item(0).Text)
[b]Change it to this:[/b]
str = FixGenre(ele.ChildNodes.Item(1).Text)
(The 0 changes to a 1).
Restart MediaMonkey.

Hi,
I'm trying to understand how the white and keep lists work. This is what I understand:
White list: acceptable values
Keep List: don't understand what this is
Black list: never accepted values

I am using the 219 genres from ID3 as a comma delimited white list and unless I select Automatically translate values, it never updates.

Can someone please explain to me how these lists work?

In the last version of the Discogs Tagger there was a bug with tagging genre. In the Version 5.80 it should work again. If it doesn't work, please send me the LOG File from the scripts folder.

I think this script is dead , alle i get is album i own , scud be removed or marked as dead so not more people waste their time :)

Probably this one, but fair warning, if there are multiple bands with the same name you may get unexpected/desired results. In those instances I usually choose the one I think Is correct and manually apply it to those tracks.

For overall tagging, but you're required to create a discog's account to use it.

Personally uses both in combination with Last.fm and other sources.

Hey , i have been looking around the site to find a script that just tags genere , are there any recomendtions ? thanks for answers

I'm finding that when I click on the icon in the toolbar for GenreFinder, that it doesn't run and just clears the Genre values.
But if I run it from Tools -> Scripts, then it works just fine.

Does "genre finder" still working ? For me it doesn't...

Can somebody modify script to this: If in track mode genre is blank fall back to artist search mode.

I have modified the script as suggested in a couple of earlier posts. When I set the run mode to track or artist it works most of the time but when set to album the genre always changes to "Albums I Own". Anyone know how to fix this?
