Thx Lowlander...but I'd seen that and i can do what you're describing but i can't set the "Grouping" (i.e. Artwork and Summary) and when i do add these to the Collection they are lost when i navigate away and return.

Also, I haven't experimented enough but the Manage View doesn't allow column width setting, correct?

Hi Lowlander, followed the steps above and MMW5 2407 stopped.

Went to click send logs but everything seemed frozen.

I was mid-way thru the startup scan AND playing music from my "No Lyrics" collection.

I think I found the error log:

https://octoberclub-my.sharepoint.com/: ... A?e=YP4kWm

Hope this helps. I will create a ticket also.

In MediaMonkey 5 you can create and use Views in multiple places using View > Main panel view > Manage views.

Collections Sharing of Tree & Column Settings

In MM4 you could share the tree, column, filter, etc. setting from one Collection to another.

This would be done by editing the Collection, clicking the Sharing button, choosing the Collections whose filter you wanted to use and selecting "collection name (Ignore: Current)". This wasn't necessarily intuitive but a great feature when figured out. :D

This was a very nice when you had a configuration that you'd otherwise like to make consistent across your Collections. Is this feature going to be available in MM5?

Thanks!
