That's exactly the intention of the addon. If, for example, you have a song whose artist is set to "The Chainsmokers & Coldplay", but you want the song to show up separately under "The Chainsmokers" and "Coldplay", then you'll want to replace the "&" with whatever character you have chosen in Tools > Options > Library > Fields > "Split multiple value fields with". The default is ";". The addon simply automates that process.
Does this clarify, or is it still not working as I described?
