MM from build 3151 checks existence of files with artworks during rescan (so it can remove deleted artwork files on rescan from database). So in case you mean rescan, not scan of new folder, and you use a lot of individual files with artworks, it can slow things down. I will try to do some optimizations, but the scan will be slower as before in such situation, because it now checks/updates more things.

Check your scan options. Duplicate scanning slows things down as well as rescanning files without changed timestamp.

Hi,
I tested Official 2024.1 and 3150-3154 and found out that Scan results are within +/- 5Min. on scanning 50k tracks. Can you please create ZIP of MMW debug logs (3150 and 3154) https://www.mediamonkey.com/support/kno ... ort-a-bug/ and attach both to Support Ticket so that we can analyze.

Also do you use WiFi or Wired connection to NAS. I personally have 4GBit connection to NAS (4x1Gbit in LAG) and 2.5GBit from PC to L2+ Omada Switch. Also tested using WiFi 6 and 7 (Asus RT-BE88U + MESH Node ASUS RT-AX92U) and finally it is getting close within 35% of Wired Speed (From 10-15% previously) until I upgrade my LAN to 10GBit.

Every Beta builds since MediaMonkey_2024.2.0.3150 is much much slower when scanning my media files from my NAS dive. I have tired each new beta but each time revert to 3150.
