Search for nonsequential tracks

This is kind of an odd request and I am hoping to speed up manual searches. I was listening to an album the other day and noticed that several tracks were missing. Is there a way to scan for nonsequential tracks within an album or folder? For instance, have MM flag if it sees track 1, 2, and 4 (3 is...

Re: Error while reading file info

Fixed it. I closed MM and updated my NIC driver. Not sure if that was the issue or not.

[SOLVED] Error while reading file info

I recently formatted my hard drive and started fresh. All of my music is stored on a local server (\\SERVER\Music). Prior to the format, MM had all of my music and worked fine. Now when trying to add my music back, all files fail to import with "error while reading file info." Can anyone p...

Re: Guide to iPod syncing

Quicktime is installed with iTunes. I guess if MM is working with the new iTunes I will just update and see what happens.

Re: Guide to iPod syncing

It is 3.0. It used to work before I formatted my computer and reinstalled everything. I now use shark007 codecs. I think before I used k-lite. I can't remember because I reformatted a a month ago and just recently attempted to use MM again.

Okay I have MM 3.2.1294
I installed iTunes 8.2
My device is iPod Touch 1G (and a 2G)

I follow the guide as best I can but my iPods will not show up in MM. They do show up in iTunes. Any suggestions?

I am using 1271. That seems to be the latest. I also made this thread talking about how I got it working

How I got album art working with iPod

First, if you use iTunes after syncing with MM, it will erase all album art. I haven't figured this part out, but I will see what I can do (maybe tomorrow). Second, this is my setup: iPod Touch 8GB with firmware 3.0 iTunes 8.2 MM 3.1.2.1271 mp3Tagger 2.44 (google it) All of these steps may not be ne...

Re: Wrong album art on iPod

This thread is kind of dead, but has more posts than most of the other wrong album art threads. Jiri was asking to narrow it down. I got it narrowed down to about 5 albums or so where the same three always have messed up album art. Here is what is weird. The 3 will all show the same art (say album a...

Re: iPod Touch & Album (art) problems

I am having the same problem but I stayed on firmware 3.0 because I thought it was suppose to be more compatible. The music is really fine, but it is annoying to have the artwork on all the albums messed up. If I go to iTunes and add a video or something, then all the artwork disappears, which I gue...

Re: Windows 7: bad network performance

I too am having slow tagging operations with MM. MM was fast under Vista and when I upgraded to Win7 everytime I tag files it goes incredibly slow (approx 30 sec per file)

Re: MM not updating mp3 tags

Finally got it working. In MM, I remove the tag from the file (Library window still looks the same). Then I go edit the file to rebuild the tag. And viola! Just like it should be. Thanks for your help, I didn't know about that advanced tag option until you said something.

Re: MM not updating mp3 tags

I figured it out. If I delete a tag field in any other program other than MM, MM will not hold the change. I took a file in MM, added lalala to the album then went to Tag&Rename and deleted it. MM would not hold the change when I tried deleting it. So in Tag&Rename I readded the album then d...
