Re: Store album art links to ID3v2
...keep my music files "clean" and small.... Just a thought... A 20KB JPEG image file is such a small addition to a 4000KB MP3 file that it hardly seems worth worrying about the extra space that embedding the image requires. If you have 60GB of MP3s, for example, embedding album cover image files ...

Re: Is the new Ipod version OK with MM?
Now I am about to upgrade my iPod using iPod Updater 2006-01-10 is there anyone that has already done that? I assume it will work just fine but just checking to be sure. I did it. Works fine for me. The iPod scrolls much faster and smoother now. And you can just hold in the "Menu" button to get to ...

Just as a note, the new iPod firmware (1.1 for the 5G - 1-10-2006) appears to have solved the compilations bug that I described above. So you can disregard my advice regarding compilations and just turn them on under settings. And the iPod scrolls a lot faster now! However, the update has not solved ...

Ok if I rename Album Artist in MM as you say, but transfer to iPod with iTunes, will these albums be understood as compilations by iTunes/iPod? Yes. The iPod seems to put any track that has a "artist" name that differs from the "album artist" name under the "compilations" folder (when you turn the ...

Re: Cant Sync To iPod Vido
Ive tried all the fixes mentioned here on the forums and nothing has made any difference. Hopefully there will be a fix forthcoming. Have you tried this? "Make sure to enable the "compatibility settings" (iPod default file structure and 31-character filename limit)." http://www.mediamonkey.com ...

Re: Volume leveling tag data not updated on select files
(1) has anyone else run into this sort of strange file behavior, and, if so, what settings were updated to resolve the situation? none of the odd files appear to be locked or already open by any other process as per Process Explorer nor are they write protected. No. But you can show the leveling ...

Try RC-4. Works great for me. I think there is a false error message that RC-3 produces that the iPod is full (however when I went ahead and synched anyway with RC-3, it seemed to do the job just fine). Make sure to enable the "compatibility settings" (iPod default file structure and 31-character ...

Re: 5th Generation IPOD 30Gig And 60 Gig Not Compatible With
When will MM be compatible with the new 30/60gig IPOD that does video, photos, and audio. Um, now actually! It works great for syncing audio. Of course, you do have to use iTunes to synch photos (I have it set for auto-synch for certain folders) and videos (make sure to turn off any audio-syncing ...
