Re: Type-to-scroll broken in tree view

Is it still enabled ? I had uninstalled this and went back to 3174, where it still worked. However, I just installed 3175, checked that it was enabled, but also this functionality is now working. Don't know why or how it didn't work the first time. Must have been a fluke, so I guess this isn't a ...

Type-to-scroll broken in tree view

In MediaMonkey 2024.2.0.3175, a feature I use multiple times a day seems to have stopped working.

When focus is in the Media Tree, type-to-scroll to a node has always worked before, but seems to have stopped working in this build.

Re: Who of you would like a MediaMonkey version for Linux?

Hello dear MediaMonkey community. I would like to start a small survey: Who of you would like a MediaMonkey version for Linux? Since I don't know how the development team stands on this question and whether they would be able to do it at all and have the appropriate resources at their disposal ...

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

I just changed the music-metadata tag in package.json, ran npm install, started up mms, and rescanned a directory that was giving me this error, and it still occurred. From syslog on the server: Jun 26 18:31:15 mms mm-server[1543]: Caught exception: TypeError: SQLite3 can only bind numbers, strings ...

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

I'm seeing two different types of errors with MPC files Music metadata parsing error: Error: Unexpected data-type: 3 (/mnt/music/Rock 1/Alan Davey/[2001] Al Chemical's Lysergic Orchestra/Alan Davey - Al Chemical's Lysergic Orchestra - 07 Synthia.mpc) Music metadata parsing error: RangeError [ERR ...

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

Any way to force a collection's rescan again to get those MPC errors? The only time they appeared was during initial scan. Restarting the server or choosing to rescan the collection from the web interface doesn't do it. What I want to send you is the last MPC file from each scan before it stopped ...

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

I've restarted MediaMonkeyServer multiple times to try to get the count up, as each time I restart the service, it will sometimes find more songs before halting. Here's the comparison between MMS and MM5. MMS Feb 24 21:37:10 mms mm-server[664]: 131312 files have been read from database in 10553 ms ...

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

Today, the database had 112,351 files in it, but it still stopped scanning before it reached the end of the collection, and never processed the next music collection I had. I can keep manually starting the scanning, but it would be nice to figure out why it stops before finishing.

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

Well, since I last posted, I've rebooted the server, and rescanned the directory, and those files show up okay now without an error, so  However, a big chuck of files is still missing. My Media Monkey desktop software shows that the Alt, Folk, Pop collection has 127,692 files, but MMS only ...

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

On February 12th, I got the source via wget https://github.com/mediamonkeyserver/mms/archive/master.zip So, if that had the newest sources at the time of the wget, then that is what I compiled with npm. Here are links to those two MP3 files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c9lgza7956ftfjg/Myl%C3%A8ne ...

Re: Only tiny percentage of songs read into collection

I just ran into this error today, running a new install of MMS pulled from git, run with NPM. Feb 12 13:43:32 mms mm-server[13754]: Caught exception: TypeError: SQLite3 can only bind numbers, strings, bigints, buffers, and null Here are my verbose and debug logs: https://www.dropbox.com/s ...

Re: 1459: Column settings disappear

Also, useful would be if you could send a copy of your database with a description of exactly how to repro--it's located as described here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=17 Please save your db to mediafire.com (or a similar service) and ...

I could probably do that sometime today. I need the debug version of the executable for that though, right? Could you provide the link and quick instructions how to do this again (its been awhile for me).

Re: 1459: Column settings disappear

I think I have the same problem. For example, I have my 'Now Playing' view for the main window set to show details, with the column order [Artist, Date, Album, Disk#, Track#, Title], but at least once a day the 'Album' column will disappear, and I'll have to re-enable it. I want all my other views ...
