Can't get back to main screen while playing Youtube [#16557]

While playing this Youtube music video (see this MM5 screenshot) https://bit.ly/35aGY0X, I tried to get back to the main interface. No matter where I clicked I could not get back to the main interface screen. It seems to me that MM5 should act like MM4 and not devote the entire window to artistic display without a way to get back to the main interface. Is this intentional?

Which version of MMW? When I hover over MM5 (build 2243) I get the Player and on the top left two buttons to change back to windowed or go to full screen mode.

Similar behaviour with 2243 but I see what you are referring to. As I move the mouse to the top banner, the album cover image shrinks revealing the two small screen icons in the upper right hand corner. However, they are covered over after about 3 seconds as the album cover goes back to full screen mode. In fact, if the mouse is kept in the middle of the top bar, the album cover will shrink then grow repeatedly. If I catch the screen icon button while it is visible I can make it back to the main interface but only if I move quickly. Those buttons should probably be visible permanently regardless of the size of the image being displayed.

Fyi. we cannot display these switcher buttons over YT video, Google prohibited overlapping any part of embedded YT video player.

Thanks. then perhaps 'full screen' should be just slightly smaller that full screen so these buttons are always accessible. I'm sure you've considered this but I would be happy giving up full screen if it was the only way I could get reliable access to the main interface.

It should work fluently on mousemove, so should not be problem, current problems with displaying is some bug.
From fullscreen you can return also by pressing Esc.
