Custom Command HotKeys

Post by Chooch »

I'm sorry if this has been done before...I swear I looked through a ton of posts, but didn't find anything.

I have an Interlink ExpressCard Bluetooth Media Remote that I use with media monkey. it has a bunch of buttons that I don't use for controlling media monkey though, like "page up/down". I would like to configure these buttons to a couple of things...

1. start Milk Drop
2. show the song name in Milk Drop
maybe more...just brainstorming now.

I wish I were more computer literate, but I know nothing about scripting. Is there already a script that lets me map these custom commands?

What keys do you use in MediaMonkey?

Usually just shortcuts like Ctrl+L to auto tag and Ctrl+R to oragnize stuff... I would just like to be able to designate a command to turn Milkdrop on and off or even "show song name" in Milkdrop though...maybe turn Shuffle and repeat on/off

Is there a way for me to set up custom commands like this?
