But i wonder where the 'stop playing'-button is? I can't see it..
Some skin designers don't bother with a stop button. You can use the pause instead. :)

I'm using my keyboard 'media'-functionality to stop the tracks now :)
If I pause a tracks, then last.fm displays the track as "now playing" and I don't like that

But i like the skin very much otherwise!

Greetings

@ SuperFunk:
nice to hear you like the skin,
Like i wrote in first post i try to simplify this skin /player ,
So i decide to use a player layout that is use by many Media players ,
3 control buttons on left side > Title Info and seekbar on center > 2-3 extra buttons on right side!

For me it makes no different if i press the pause or a stop button , i just want to listen or don't listen to my music,
(but you can use right click on play/pause button,to show stop button)
or enable play control in Now playing Window,
But I'm wondering where do you think is a good place for a stop button ?

I probably think you're right about simplifying the skin,
also I like the colour, it makes it 'light' to use

I don't know if this is a good idea:
but what if you would split the pause button (into two horizontal buttons for play and pause?)

I'm not sure if this would make things better, but maybe you should try it to see what the result is.. ?

Anyway, good job
I will keep following your work here

Thanks a lot for this skin. Very Nice :D

I really appreciate that:
- no border between each elements
- nice icons
- monochrome skin
- nice scrollbars
- minimalist (just essential)

Could I make little comments:
- replace the rating balls by stars or hearts.
- bring out the display. Maybe by stronger gray and enlarging the display control.

For me, just one button for Play/Pause is enough. I think this skin don't need to have more buttons. It's functional like that.

I don't really see any place on this skin where a stop button would fit. :-?

Hm, i don't like hearts on the skin ( don't matches with my dread image  )
I can test with stars with round Tips

Haha yeah I saw that in Mantis: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=7416

From your screenshot It seems to work great. :D

Thanks a lot Petr!! :D

ps: I like the subtle illusion of translucency you gave to the tabs.

Hello DreadM,

I don't understand why but my Microplayer doesn't take into account your skin, it takes the pre-installed skin.
After checking, my Microplayer never change whatever the skin installed.

Thanks in advance

That's because that is not your micro player. That is the windows7 taskbar player. The micro player (which has become mostly obsolete in win7) is added by right clicking the taskbar and ticking the MM toolbar option under toolbars.

Hope that helps!

Hi DreadM,

Do you know of a way to change the light-blue blackground in the M-Plexx Monkey Rok skin? I love the skin but don't like the blue.. Thanks!

Never mind; I found the solution. For those interested, you can replace the colour codes in the *.ini file.
