Keyboard controls from Winamp Plugins

Post by Philby »

As MM itself does not seem to have a comprehensive keyboard control mechanism, I wondered how well the Winamp plugins would work in MM. There are so many of them available for Winamp that I could not possibly test them all. Does anybody know if they would work (stuff like Stop, Pause, Next Track, Volume control, etc) ?

peke,
I just have a basic standard keyboard.

I have been experimenting with some software that has support for controlling Winamp. It works perfectly with MediaMonkey and has a lot of great hotkey shortcuts for general usage as well !

It is called HotKeyZ, and it is freeware

I stopped using it... It tries to contact brinkster.com every time you press a hotkey. I emailed the author about it and I am waiting for a response.
