MM wont let me put songs on my mp3 player

MM wont let me put songs on my mp3 player

I have configuered my mp3 player.I know i can put them on beacause i have done it off MM before it says path is not correct or something it does the same with my media player
i am using windows xp home
and i have MM version 2.5
can you help me?

Have you changed any setting since you last synchronised the player?

Have you done anything different?

nope everything is the same as it was but it starts sycronizing then it comes up error

Path not found sounds like windows changed the drive letter the player mounted as. Might want to check that.

If thats the case, you may want to identify it not by the drive letter but by the USB Device ID.

When you configure the device, under the "Device Configuration" tab, where it says "USB Device ID:" click te "Find Device" button, it will give you a list of the USB storage devices connected to the system, if there is only one connected, there should only be one selection, select that. Otherwise if there is more than one and you dont know which one is your mp3 player, remove the other devices and only have your mp3 player pluged in and it should be easy to select.

This way, no matter what drive letter windows allocates to the drive, MM will still be able to find it.
