They are phasing out the old v1.0 API and it will be shut down on Jan 15, 2012.

One more month to cross fingers...

Im using MediaMonkey wrapped in Wineskin on a MacBook Pro. I get the "cannot query the website" error but none of the fixes provided work. Any ideas?

So do you still need an API key in order to install the new Discogs tagger? I went to discogs.com and logged into my account. There's no longer an API access tab in my Settings.

There's no need for an API key.

Oh great! So even if I closed my Discogs account I could still install the Discogs tagger?

Whats the use of having "Date" and "Original Date"? I think it should be changed, so "Date" becomes "Date This Edition Released" and "Original Date" should become "First Released"

its annoying when I tag an album that was first released on vinyl in 1979 and my CD was released in say.. 1992 that it chooses 1992 as the release date...

Of course in order for this to work, "Original Date" needs to grab the date form the master release..
My Setup:
"HFPC" Dell Optiplex 320 (2GB RAM, 3.0 Dual Core 1.5TB HDD) Win7 Ultimate SP1 x86
Musiland Monitor 02 US USB DAC
Nad C356BEE Integrated Amplifier
Custom 2-way loudspeakers
