The GOOD things about MMA

Post by mcow »

Make sure the developers know we like their good ideas!

I just noticed the little drag handles on the entries in the Now Playing list. Nice! (Makes me want horizontal swipe to delete...) Overall, I'm liking the look.

Another thing: I'm using the UPnP play capability in MMA to play a streamed flac, direct from the NAS. Listening thru my new Shure headphones—not high-end but they're the best cans I've ever owned. Yum.

nobody else, huh?

I paid for PowerAmp and I'm almost ready to uninstall it. Now that I've got rapid discovery of the server going on, the program is really useful. Just a couple things more... like scrobbling...

the fact that its mma is good for me. i use usb sync with mm 3 and it works like a charm.
only the trouble with the art work is what i'm having issues with now.
i presume i have all other issues as well but i don't use those areas so i can't test them.

i love the auto send of the debug logs oh wait its a click to send but still it is simple and easy to send debug logs.

I noticed that when tracks have been played on the tablet, after the sync, MMA shows how many tracks were updated on the computer, rather than "nothing to sync." Nice little improvement.

Just a little thing. The tracks are listed and play in the correct album order, not alphabetically like the other players I have used.

I like this thread for counting our blessings!

I like the ability to edit the Now Playing list, including drag-and-drop ordering, as noted above. Multi-select within track lists is great. Editing track properties, including rating, on the device is awesome. Someday being able to sync via WiFi, once I get the kinks all worked out, will be awesome, too!

I like the synchronisation delete options, and the Devices Auto-Synch_.Device options. It helps keeps my mobile device tidy. ie. I easily can control just what is on my android device from my pc where I have easier navigation due to bigger screen and a mouse.

I also like the two way synchronisation. Very slick.

... Maybe these are not new to this beta. I haven't had occasion to look at MM's synchronisation facilities before the beta of MMA
