Synchronisation is laggy.
I have my device profile setup to synchronise when a track's Genre list includes 'Nexus'
I added Nexus to an album's Genre list (I also have Use Only First Value unchecked for Genre in the Device's profile).
I have MMA set to allow the server to decide what is synchronised.
I did a synchronisation ... It didn't find anything.
I stopped and started the MMW UPnP server. ... still didn't notice.
I added a specific album to the Devices synchronisation list via the Location facility ... didn't notice ... just kept saying that there was nothing to synchronise.
I came back an hour later, and pressed Synchronise again, and it all started coming across.
What is required to get MMA to notice changes to the list of things that should be synchronised?

Re: Synchronisation seems laggy.
Now can't connect to the MM UPnp server. "Connection failed"
But MMA can connect instantaneously to the (other) UPnP server running on my NAS ... same wifi, same tablet ... plays large flac files acroiss the wifi w/o any hiccup
I tried stopping and starting the MMW service via Options|Library|MediaSharing. .. No joy.
Any chance that the MMW server screws things up if the PC's screen saver kicks in? .... That's all that has happened since this was all working earlier today.
Maybe threads in android are hanging around for something that they will never get?
I rebooted the tablet (Nexus 7 running android 4.22) ... the UPnP server on my ReadyNAS showed up immediately. The MMW one didn't. It showed up after I stopped and started the service as above. ... Still couldn't connect though.
Closed and re-opened MMW, and was able to connect ok.
MMW is 4.1.0.1629

I haven't had problems connecting the the MediaMonkey Media Server even after days of running. The screensaver shouldn't affect this.

I pushed the Send Logs button on MMA when it was happening ... I don't know how to see any logs or whatever could help me better describe it for you.

It happened again today. I had to stop and start MMW before the MMA Connection was successful.Lowlander wrote:I haven't had problems connecting the the MediaMonkey Media Server even after days of running. The screensaver shouldn't affect this.
MMA was running, but not being used.
It isn't a screensaver. It is Windows 7 Power option ... set to put the computer to sleep after an hour of inactivity.
When I come back to PC Windows, it wakes up, but the MM Media Sharing service is cactus. Just stopping & restarting the service (via the Options|Library|MediaSharing panel) doesn't seem enough. I have to close and restart MMW.

It happened again. It is reproducible.
Apologies for describing it as my screen saver. It is my Windows 7 Sleep Power option.
