On install, can't get to initial screen

Just installed Songs-Db 1.2.6. Startup keeps giving an error essage:
"The SONGS-DB.EXE file is linked to missing export SHEL32.DLL:SHGetDateFromDListW".
Also gives another error message:
"A device attached to the system is not running".
I can't get to the initial screen.

Everything in Device Manager is working. When it first didn't work, I installed MDAC just in case. I've also reinstalled Songs-Db several times.

I'm in Win98 with IE5.5 and Office97. Have an Athlon XP on ECS K7S6A board. Win98 was cleaned with 98lite, but I've had no problem with that.

Function SHGetDataFromIDList is according to MSDN part of Windows since both Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95, so it should work everywhere. The problem is probably caused by 98lite you wrote about. I believe that any recent installation of IE (probably 4+) should solve this problem.
