[REQ] Browse By Extended Metadata & Artwork View

Post by small_horse »

Hello

Loving the app so far - didn't realise this existed, and only found out about it due to a phone upgrade. Previous to this I was struggling with a very clumsy PowerAMP + MediaMonkey Windows setup.

I understand we are still very much in beta, but I haven't had any issues so far - just some ideas:

Browse By Extended Metadata
I'm a bit of a fiend for extended metadata in my library - Grouping, Publisher (which i use as the Record Label field), Tempo, Mood & Occasion. I'd really like it if I could add a tile to the front page that allowed me to browse by these fields. I understand not everyone uses these fields, but for someone like me having a feature like this would be a dream come true!

Artwork View
I can't find a way to change the view style in the album list. I'd really like to have the ability to change this to (album) artwork view - where each album appears as a tile with its artwork. If this is already possible please let me know.

Thanks
:)
Information regarding my setup:
MediaMonkey Gold for Windows User - 4.1.0.1672 Beta
MediaMonkey for Android User - Latest Version Beta

MMW: Windows 7 Professional x64, 8GB RAM, Intel i5 CPU, 500GB SATA HDD (for music collection)
MMA: Motorola RAZR HD XT925, Android 4.1.2, SanDisk 64gb SDXC Memorycard

Thank you rusty, Im also looking forward to artwork view, or alternatively just to be able to view albums in tiles with artwork as opposed to in a list. Either way, great job with the app! This was definitely an insta buy for me.

Cheers,
Chicho
