Server running but not sharing my music

Post by Selm »

hello,
I'have a problem for wifi sync between MMA and MMW.
And i think my problem come of the server.

I'don't have a very good english so i will use screen for explain you more easly.

before starting, I have MMW 4.1.5.1719 and MMA Pro 1.0.7.0311

So,
I make my first USB sync with "Grant remote sync / access rights .." checked.

My database is not empty :

My server is "running"

I think have configured it correctly :

And my phone is connected by wifi on the same network than my computer.

From my phone i can see my server named "Mon Serveur-DLNA" (Default name of the server in French)
But when i want explore him he is empty..
Like when i explore it on MMW :

So I can't sync my MMA with MMW
And therefore sync Metadata of my music between my two device and for me it's very annoying.

I already test desinstall my firewell
and restart my phone and my computer, but nothing..

Please someone know what is the problem ??

I don't see anything jump out other than trying to select accept external IP addresses in the Media Server settings (however that would not explain why local MMW doesn't see it's own MMW server).

Have you tried a PC restart?

The last thing (but as MMW itself fails I don't think it is) that could be a problem is the Auto-Conversion rules, unfortunately that screenshot wasn't included.

That seems in order too.

I suggest you capture a debug log (step 4b) from start of MMW to it trying to access it's own Media Server and failing to show any files and send the log to support: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=20&t=69

Ok,
I try to do this, but i don't know how to "reproduce" the bug
because i can't play an any track from my server.
So nothing appear in the window of Debugview
the only entry is when i write at you this reply..

But when i have restart MMW for with DebugView launch befor
i have a new entry in the media server List :
"MediaMonkey Library"
Image

But i don't create a new server:

On this new server i can play all my music

but my MMA only see the other, "Mon Serveur DLNA" who dont have any track

I don't understand

No bug has to happen, DBGView will capture everything that's happening in MediaMonkey, but you need to run the Debug version of MediaMonkey, the regular version won't do.

It sounds like you installed the debug version differently and thus have a different Media Server that's working. You'll need to install the debug version of MediaMonkey the same way as the regular version (like an update, so same folder and same install type (regular vs. portable)). Then all your existing setting should remain and can you troubleshoot the issue by capturing all actions in DBGView.

Ok that's do,
I send a ticket with DBGView rapport.
and a link on this subject.

Thank's for your time ;)

I will wait their answer.
