Hi,
I would like to have the funtion "autocreate Directonary by Author",
using the file name as information.
Because, I have a few thousants of mp3´s sortet in directionaries, and it´s a lot of work, doing this by hand.

If You Use Auto rename Feature of MM in Destination Field just Enter
"%A\%A - %T" To Create Dir named by Author.

I think there is one problem with Peke's solution as it uses song tags to create folder and file name.
Oliver requests to have the info extracted from the filename.
This still would be possible but an additional step would be necessary:
- Auto-tag from filename. This would update the tags in the songs with the filename info.
- Step 2 as described by Peke.
This extra step wouldn't be necessary if tags and filename already contain the same info. If you want tags and filename to have different info, MM doesn't offer any function auto-create folders based on filenames.
