Player Volume

When playing back songs through the Songs player I find I have increase the volume control significantly in order to hear music at the same level as when the same song is played by other players such as Windows Media player, Music Match etc. which all appear to work at similar volume levels. Is there some setting I can change to correct this - not been able to find one so far.

Songs-DB uses WinAmp compatible plug-ins, so generally speaking it should produce the same volume as WinAmp does. You can check plug-in configuration in Setup|Setup Player menu or you can download any WinAmp2 compatible plug-in you like from winamp.com to Plugins folder. Another reason for this problem can normalization (Options|Normalize volume) which assures that all songs are played equally loud (approximatelly), but for most of the songs it decreases volume a bit.
