Some songs silent

I'm running MM Pro version 1.3.0.0685 on my Droid Turbo. I sync via wifi with MediaMonkey Gold version 4.1.14.1813. After a recent sync, some songs play silently. They are not paused. I'm guessing it's about 15% of my songs. On those songs, when the time of the song runs out, the player won't jump to the next song without me pushing the forward button.

Were those files converted on sync? What file type(s) are the affected files?

I don't know that all of the affected songs are the same format, but let's look at one particular album where I know of songs that aren't playing. All songs on the album are M4A format. I haven't done any format conversions for at least a couple years, so that wouldn't appear to be the issue. On this particular album, all of the songs play fine except for 4 or 5. When they come up to play, it appears that they are playing normally, there just isn't any sound. When it comes to the end of the song, the player just stops and will not automatically forward to the next song.

By the way, the songs play fine on MM on my computer, just not on my Droid Turbo.

One other bit of info. I tried deleting one of the songs off my Droid and then syncing again. The song was reinstalled on the Droid, but still has no sound.

Does the default music App on your device play it successfully?

No. The same songs play silently on "Play Music" as well.

Then your device likely isn't able to play those files. You may have to AutoConvert them during sync to something like MP3.

Yeah, I wondered about that, but............other songs on the same album play just fine and are the same file type. Plus, all songs played fine up until about a month ago. I just can't figure out what would have changed for just a select few songs.

Within a File Type not necessarily all files are supported. For example Sample Rate is an issue on many devices. Too high and it won't work. Unfortunately MMA still relies on the device supporting the file for playback as it doesn't have its own codecs yet.

You may want to try re-syncing the files if they're in MMW. If they are you may also be able to see if there is anything different about those files.
