Media Monkey Shuts Down After Scanning New Files

Post by Scooter »

Just did an update to Windows 10 and when I scan for new files, Media Monkey shuts down.

Sequence is

File > Add/Rescan Files > Check Box for Files Sought to Be Added > Press OK > Get Scan Results > Press OK

Media Monkey shuts down. Interestingly enough, if I press "Cancel" it does not shut down.

I must have a box checked somewhere .....

Capture this in a debug log (step 4b) and attach the log to a Support Ticket for analysis: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=69

What is a de-bug log and where do I find it?

I believe I found, and correctly installed, the de-bug version of Media Monkey. I then replicated the error, and I think a report was issued and sent to the support ticket team. If I am incorrect, please let me know.

After three days and two submissions of an error log, I have heard nothing from Media Monkey support.

I uninstalled Media Monkey and reinstalled it, and it working fine.

Did you attach a log to a Support Ticket as suggested? Auto-generated logs don't get a response.
