I uploaded many addons to MM's addon page, but not all of those were created by me. "By drakinite, Submitted by drakinite" means I made it on my own time. "By Ventis Media, Inc., Submitted by drakinite" means it may have been made by me or another MediaMonkey developer, so instead of crediting/thanking me, please thank the team. You can still ask me for support on any of our addons.

Huh... I just installed build 2262 and it seems to behave the same as in 2261? I still experience #1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10, as reported. Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling?

Hi,
No, Just install clean Portable version and copy your MM5.DB into portable folder (you can skip first start wizard) and see if anything improved.
If not, we will get it back on drawing board and work on them again.
EDIT: few new pics and test results would also help.

I installed it as portable but I still experience all those bugs. Here's a recording that shows the issues. Let me know if you want me to show you what the context menus look like on the third display, as well

Also to clarify on #7, here's a visual of my suggestion:

Edit: I didn't mention #4 because that one is completely fixed as far as I can tell

Some more bugs in 2268
Hiya! I've got a couple bugs that are present on build 2268. I posted a few of these before, but they didn't seem to be noticed.

- Pinning and unpinning items on the media tree doesn't take effect until MediaMonkey is closed and reopened
- On the search results page, if you search for an artist or album, the page does not scroll when you're moused over the artist or album section. (But it does scroll when you're moused over the track list below it.)
- Double-click-to-play [#16764] does not shuffle when shuffle is enabled, unlike MM4.
In addition, it always plays in order by track #, even if the songs are sorted differently in the list view. - The entire UI stutters whenever any tooltip fades in or out (Can be seen when mousing over seek bar, mousing over or scrolling list view, mousing over or scrolling media tree, and even in the visualizer at the bottom of the screen. https://puu.sh/G3Dul/f07f0c4132.mp4 [The mouse is in the wrong place in this recording, but you can see where the tooltip shows up.])
Performance analysis shows a ton of layout changes and delays that add up to each frame taking 150-200ms. https://developers.google.com/web/funda ... us-layouts Tooltips on dialog windows don't have that problem; only ones on the main window.
- In ListView with the column browser enabled: If you select an album, then click on the list view without selecting a track, then press Ctrl + A, the list of albums will get highlighted instead of the list of tracks. https://puu.sh/GwLw3/945e919e95.mp4
- When opening MM5, two instances of MediaMonkey show up on the taskbar. This could easily be fixed by making the splash screen not show up on the taskbar.

6) With or without Splash Screen MediaMonkey only shows one entry here on start. Could you be accidentally launching it twice (and one instance setting than closing second)?

2268 - navigation problem in Browser view search results
Steps in this video:
Also the main panel can become screwed up when I switch between mouse wheel and arrow key scrolling ... MM5 gets the the main panel dimensions screwed up ... it just uses the top half of it's panel, and the bottom half remains empty
- global search ... it displays results in Browser view
- click on top left tile
- use down arrow key to navigate downwards
- proceeds as expected until I get to the bottom tile that is currently displayed, but then instead of scrolling the page up so I can see more, focus switches to the rhs panel, and subsequent down arrow key press are trapped by that panel
- I then pulled down the scroll bar on the main panel, to show that there was many tiles|rows that you didn't show me
- scroll down to the bottom of the tracks list ... we are still in the Browser view from he above series of action
- use the mouse wheel to scroll up
- scrolls up to the top of the tracks list ... but won't scroll up through the Genre & Composers & Album & Artists tile sections
- mouse wheel has become inactive
- switch to up keys ... these are broken too ... they get trapped by the rhs panel again
Also the main panel can become screwed up when I switch between mouse wheel and arrow key scrolling ... MM5 gets the the main panel dimensions screwed up ... it just uses the top half of it's panel, and the bottom half remains empty
Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
