Try to restart your PC and see if you can then do what you were doing.
If that doesn't work, what are you doing when you get that message and which version of MediaMonkey?

Hi,
Ok, try this:
1. Start MM installtion
2. in path prompt select portable installation
3. proceed with installation
4. if needed copy "c;\Users\mjds4\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey\MM.DB" to subfolder of newly MMW portable install
5. Start MM
6. You would need to enter your registration info again, but you can cancel initial first start wizard.
Let us know the result.

Re: getting this message ... Cannot Create File ...PLEZZZZ HELP!!!
thanks Peke.......so your saying for me to go to were the MM program is and click on install???? do i need to un-install it 1st???
Re: getting this message ... Cannot Create File ...PLEZZZZ HELP!!!
No, you're doing a new install (as Portable Install) in a separate location (like C:\MediaMonkey\) and then you can copy the old database to this portable install C:\MediaMonkey\Portable\).
You can leave the old install installed for now.

Hi,
I was joking, it is unwritten rule of writing on Internet from its early days.
I more wonder if my steps helped?
