transfer playlist from android phone to windows 10

I had to reload windows and lost everything (I think) on my computer and had to reinstall apps as well.
My cell phone has MM on it and all the old songs and playlist. How do I copy the playlist from my phone back to MM on my windows 10 desktop?

Hi Lowlander,
And thanks for the reply. I have been down this road looking for something like what you suggested as in "MMA to MMW" and never seem to find the exact same wording.
I used the menu that looks like see below.



dont know if that works, but then I tried to synch and its grayed out. see picture

You need to connect your device to the PC via USB to be able to sync from MMW. If you want to do a wifi sync you need to start sync from MMA.

if I sync from the android phone, after about 30 seconds of running, I am returned the message, "Everything is in sync"
However, I dont see any new folders in my Playlists created on my windows 10 machine. So, something is not working right.

What indication on my windows machine Media Monkey application should I be able to see in order to know it is connected to my android cell phone?

Thanks! I went out to the garage and got newer USB cord and now the android icon and files show in my windows file manager. So, thats as far as I have gone. Still have my auto sync greyed out on my mediamonkey app for windows on my desktop.

Did you read the Support article linked? Make sure your device is connecting in MTP mode as that's the only mode that allows for syncing from MediaMonkey.

None of my choices for USB are MTP mode

I have several choices from which to choose on my samsung s9+
Currently, I have chosen "Transferring files/Android Auto

the other choices are
USB tethering
MIDI
Transferring images
charging phone only
