Hi
I have Windows 10 and MM4 (Lifetime Licence)
I had made a random playlist from my entire music selection which comprised about 600 tracks.
A couple of days ago I cloned my HDD which contained the music to a larger one then swapped them so I had the larger drive in my laptop.
I've just had to re-add all my tracks to the library but I've also lost the playlist.
I've searched and found that I can export them via Tools>Scripts>Export. But nothing exports.
I still have the original HDD and could attach it to my laptop via a caddy.....would that help in anyway?
Is there any way of recovering my playlist?
Thanks

Playlists are stored in the database file: http://oldsvr.mediamonkey.com/support/i ... -ini-files

Thanks...but I found that in my search before posting.
There's no sign of my playlist.....looks like I'll need to re create it.

I've checked the files in the location you linked above and there wasn't anything there.
Is there another location?
How do I know the difference between the old database and the new one?

Re: Playlist gone
Hi,
First indication of difference would be plain file size. Then when you rename new library, save old one to its place and load MMW you should be able to see playlists.
NOTE: If files are not playable, but playlists are there then it is a different issue that is handled by location moved files to pair them in new location instead of scanning to avoid duplicates.
