2275 - MM5 seems to be mixing up two columns [#17133][#16235]

There seems to be a problem where MM5 is mixing up the "Summary" column and the "Track Summary" column.

In this illustration I am List by Album view. ... The display is sorted by track title, so the albums are fragmented.
I want to group the albums, so I would like to re-sequence the display by AlbumArtist|Album

If I click the "Summary" column nothing happens. ... this works OK in MM4.
If I go to the Choose Columns" display, I can group by albums if I sort by "Track Summary" .... that is strange ... Track Summary is Artist:TrackTitle, not AlbumArtist:Album

If I add the Track Summary column to the main display, and then click it's heading, I get the sort sequence that I want.

It looks like MM5 has the sort action, that should be connected to the [Album] Summary column, incorrectly connected to the TrackSummary column.

"Track Summary" is not "Summary" in the "List (by Album)".

I guess that sorting of Summary would be just the same as sort on Album, so that's the workaround.
And yes, you can add "Track Summary" for which sorting works.

But during testing I found that this issue: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=16235 re-appears in the current build, so I re-opened it for fix.

I don't think that you have understood what I am trying to report. ... I know that these are different columns.

I have added both of these columns to the display.
Summary is album,albumartist ... as expected
Track Summary is artist,tracktitle ... as expected

Click on the Summary coulmn heading is a no op ==> not expected ... not consistent with MM4 ... added by Lowlander to Mantis, thanks
Click on track summary column behaviour is also unexpected behaviour ... the list is re-sequenced, but appears to be on album,albumartist sequence ... which is what I would have expected from a click on the Summary column heading ==> which is why I think that MM5 has mixed up these two columns somehow

You mean as a ongoing workaround? Or just until you fix the bug?
It is a poor workaround ... if the Summary column is on display, then Album and AlbumArtist column are a waste of space, because they contain redundant information.

the Summary is also missing here. ... why? ... maybe because you don't want me to use it when in List view? ... think that the Summary column is required here when I am in List By Album view ... and what is the harm if it is available generally ... I realise that it is a waste of vertical space if I am in List view, but the user will realise that , and undo the addition if it is not what they want
