Auto-tag issues [#17181]

I used version 2274 for a large number of auto-tagging and it worked fine. I selected folders with sub-folders to auto-tag via context-menu (right-click on a folder at local disc).
At some point (I can't explain when) it didn't worked any more. When I choose now a folder with sub-folders the auto-tag dialog opens but remains empty (just the general auto-tag text at top and buttons at the bottom). I can still start auto-tagging every single sub-folder which directly contains the mp3-files, but tis way is very in-efficient and I purchased Gold license for this feature.

Additionally the column width is always over-large. This way it's hard to work. I found no way to store the view settings. I have to reset it every time opening the auto-tag dialog.

Changing to version 2276 did not solve the problem. Therefore (next issue ) I cannot re-enable the "Prefer faster media lookups..." in options dialog after disabling once. Even unistalling und reinstalling complete MM5 software did not help.

Auto-Tag works on selected files. Are you saying you don't have files selected, but instead a folder?

Yes, I have selected a folder from the file-structure (left side) and did a right-click on it. From the menu I chose "auto-tag".
Is there another way to auto-tag multiple files in multiple sub-folders?
I have a lot of audio files with incomplete tags and non-consistent file names. I used the auto-tag function and afterwards the auto-organize function to organise the files...
