Hi,
I've got a collection of 150.000+ files. Usually 3-4 tabs open (full collection root, a playlist and my incoming directory). Playing music is mostly over a bluetooth connected speaker.
And it seems I'm always running out of memory for a 32-bit application.
For attached logfile, things get interesting when it wants to parse 29-suv_and_kc_feat_paul_charles-deny-mkd.mp3 and 07-verdikt-batman-mkd.mp3. At that point it has 2.2GB allocated for cover images and no more memory to handle these files. Both files play fine, so it's not really a problem that they can't be decoded.

Re: MM5 runs out of memory every time
Hi, I can access the log and I can confirm that there is line:
Covers: Memory occupied by picture data: 2.2 GB
but the log isn't complete so I cannot see how this could even happen, I doubt that a single file could have 2.2 GB of cover (artwork) pictore files attached ?
Maybe if the file could be in a folder full of pictures, e.g. an audio file inside a photo gallery folder ?
Could you please generate new log, but with DbgView started prior to MM5 start ?

OK,
no need for another log, I think that I found where the problem lies, details in https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=17273
