[REQ] Add back the list menu in MM5 [#17826 #18109]
Hello,
I notice that the List Menu is missing from MM5 when you right click in Playing tab. Could you add this feature back.
Thank you!

What actions are you missing? The Menus have mostly been consolidated in the 3 dot menu at the left-top of the Playing window.

Re: [REQ] Add back the list menu in MM5.
I mainly need Clear, Clean (Remove inaccessible), Randomize List, Save and Load Playlist.
I understand that in MM5, that they are located at the left-top menu when you right click playing node.
The issue with me is, I want to minimise the left panel for my Playing Tab. It is additional couple of clicks for me to reach the menu. Having to reinstate back the List menu in the right-click for Playing Tab is vital for me. It becomes fast.
Hope I make sense. Thank you.

All, but Load Playlist, are available in the 3 dot menu of the Playing windows. You can hide the side panels, so in 3 clicks you execute any of those functions.

Hi,
1. HINT: Beside ⋮ If you right on "Playing" Tree node you get what you had under EDIT in MM4 and SAVE PLAYLIST
2. Regarding LOAD Playlist how about adding "Tree (Playlists)" as View element in to Playing -> List View where you can simply Drag and Drop a playlist to Now Playing position and load it or Drop To player to Clear And Play it?
NOTE: I am talking about Tree (Playlist) that you can enable when selecting Playlists tree and under view change dropdown enable Tree (Playlists) View Element.
3. Only other things missing are "Invert Selection", "Send Playlist to Device" and quick link to Now Playing "Options" Which we have not yet decided to port MM5.
BLACK = Removed/Outdated
BLUE = Existing on Right click or ⋮
RED = Missing

Now SUGGESTIONS?

It is still just two clicks also in MM5, see: https://www.dropbox.com/s/foj0ta7wlls34 ... 6.png?dl=0monkeyfan1970 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 8:45 pmBut in MM4 I can achieve this in just 2 clicks with the List menu.![]()

The issue is there is so many real estate wasted in MM5 in the default mode. I use a new tab for the "Playing" Node. And in that tab, I do not want to show both Right and Left Panel. I want to keep my UI as clean as possible. With that setup, there is no ability to clear the current playing list. Unless, I open the right or Left panel.
Hence having the list menu in the right-click is just super convenient. You could do this in MM4.
Re: [REQ] Add back the list menu in MM5 [#17826]
Clear can easily be done with Ctrl+A (select all) and Delete, or setting Hotkey for Playing list: Clear.

There is no default Hot Key to open close the left or right panels, but you can create one via Tools|Options as a workaround.monkeyfan1970 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 12:44 am The issue is there is so many real estate wasted in MM5 in the default mode. Want a dark skin for MM5? This is the one that works best for me .. elegant, compact & clear.
Re: [REQ] Add back the list menu in MM5 [#17826]
ahh, ok, I see. With the left panel you could right-click Playing node to show the menus like 'Clean', 'Clear', 'Reverse List' , but you are true that they are not available on right-click in the file-listing, tracking as: https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=18109monkeyfan1970 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 12:44 am The issue is there is so many real estate wasted in MM5 in the default mode. So current workaround is to configure hotkeys for these actions: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7gbnwdo690xik ... 8.png?dl=0
