- Get an old Naim UnitiQute streamer with really cool speakers which has been consuming FLAC from MM via WASAPI since probably MM3 but I can't really remember. The player's so old that the LED display on the front no longer works, but the sound is excellent.
- Find that with MM4 play is "stuck on repeat". Whilst trying to fix that, look for upgrades, and note that MM5 is now here.
- Kick self for missing that, download MM5, and find that the "stuck on repeat" has changed to "crashes MM5", which has a sort of white screen of death, plus Event log "Application Error" and "Application Hang" messages in pairs as shown below reverse ordered.
- Drink beer whilst streaming from Windows Media Player.... which fortunately has the same problem, showing the issue is the Naim, which of course someone had put into "repeat current track" mode.
