Portable installation does not always start
Having trouble with a portable installation on a flash drive. I want to give some music to friends and have it play through MediaMonkey. So I put the music on a flash drive and do a portable installation for the free MM5 on the drive. First, I keep getting this pesky notice at the bottom of the screen: "Connected: F:\ (1) CONFIGURE" I have no idea what that means or what I supposed to do. Next, when I close the program, it does not always open again. Sometimes, sometimes not. If I go into Windows Task Manager and delete the MediaMonkey lines (some have large icons, some small -- I delete the large ones) the program will then open. Any suggestions?

Hi,
Let me try to shred some lite on doubts.
1. F:\ Cofigure means that MM is detecting your Flash drive as Sync Storage. To remove that you should click Configure -> ⋮ Disable and then it will be handled like external Storage.
2. Give it some time to close as USB storage is much slower than external USB HDDs so it takes time that MM closes and saves all the info.
