MMA2 pauses after a moment with Android Auto (Coolwalk beta) [#19659]

MMA2, Android Auto (Coolwak beta) 8.6.625004-release

This was happening with MMA1 and I thought it was resolved with MMA2, but nope.

After autostarting when plugged into Android Auto (USB connection), MMA2 will go into Pause mode after a moment or two. I sent a log, not sure if it'll catch the issue. Log ID 5QAE38URC9.

This does not happen with other audio players (Podcast Addict, forex).

In case it's relevant, car is a '17 Kia with their UVO infotainment system, fully updated as far as it'll go.

btw, I assume that if you manually initiate playback, MM doesn't 'auto-pause'?

Actually, I have no idea. It just starts automatically. When I tap the play button after the pause, it continues.

Have you tried ☰ -> Options -> Playback to disable all start playback on connection and enable/disable always respond to remote?

EDIT: This sounds like double command is sent too quickly and MMA UI is not able to respond/update correctly.

I have autostart disabled in MMA, but I do have "respond" enabled to try to deal with that other app being a bully. But this only seems to have affect with bluetooth, not Android Auto.

Oh, there's a separate command for that within AA to start media automatically. Turning that off, will test effectiveness here.

Maybe related, but that one is Bluetooth and this one is USB wired Android Auto which is why I made a separate report.

Sure, no complains there, but if they are related I guess that fixing both would be easier in one go

I disabled the auto-play-on-connect in Android Auto (Coolwalk Beta) and MMA behaves. Though AA now sometimes shows the wrong player when it starts up.

Trying... I re-enabled the autoplay in AA a couple days ago but the issue hasn't recurred yet.

Not a full pause, but today it did stutter on an AA autostart playback when connected. Log ID MSV11GPURQ
