Initial sync to SD doesn’t work correctly

Hi,
I‘ve a problem. Got a RedMi Note 10 with 512GB SD.
Syncing 21000 songs via WiFi takes too much time. So I decided to make initial sync to SD directly. Followed step by step the instructions. I tested with 300 songs, before I sync my full collection. But after reinsert SD and starting WiFi sync, MMA starts pairing and then it want‘s to download ~190 songs again? Retryed instructions 3 times again, but same result. I don‘t know what‘s wrong with. I use MMW 5 and MMA 2, newest versions.

Did you scan the files in MMA after inserting the SD card? Which exact MMA version and MMW (Help > About) version are you Syncing with?

I reinsert the SD. Monkey shows that it’s scanning files (I don‘t do manually check for the files). Monkey is showing the tracks. When doing the WiFi sync, it‘s pairing/matching files. But then, it‘s re-downloading ~2/3 of files. It seems, that matching fails in this cases. But I don‘t know, what I could done wrong. I‘m using MMW 5.0.4.2690 and MMA 2 v1061 on Android 11.

Yes. From FLAC > OGG.

Hi again. Had some time and synced again. So it seems to work now. BUT I‘ve noticed, that I had to check for new files in MMA for 2-3 times again, until all files were in library. I‘ll observe further.

Just an fyi, there is a bug in build 1073 re. syncing to the SD card that could be related to what you've observed. Details at:
