But I don't even have to delete the track on MMA, it's enough to synchronise when something changes in the database on the track, then the corresponding album picture reappears.

This is basically the same symptom I've been describing. I've never tried this sequence, though. I've always just gone to the artwork tab for the track(s) in MMW and edited there and re-synched.

Note that rescanning in MMA should fix Artwork in most cases that had been lost during the beta cycle.

I have already tried that. But in my case a simple rescan in MMA did not restore the album images.

For me, only a resynchronization with MMW of the affected content works.

Asking this as in my tests rescan of originally synced files that contained AA in both MMA (previously) and MMW were same. If not it is possible that MMA did not had info on AA. I mean it happened on few tracks out of 5k (previously 100 had missing AA), but I could not replicate AA loss with new version.

I'm not sure what you mean by "pairing" in this context. Anyway, in my case there is no auto-conversion of the audio files when synchronizing between MMW and MMA.

For me, rather 95% (several thousands) of the tracks are affected. Everything that was last synchronized between MMW and MMA before a certain date (probably with the 1.x versions of MMA).

Just to clarify, after updating from MMA 1.x to 2.0.x, the album images were initially displayed correctly in the early versions of MMA 2.0.0.x. Only when synchronizing with one of the latest 2.0.0.x versions, I think it was 2.0.0.1065, they disappeared.

Only when any new information is updated in the database (e.g. the playback counter), the album pictures reappear. For that, the physical audio files do not have to be transferred again from MMW to MMA.

Do you know any way to resync only the database from MMW to MMA without resyncing or deleting and resyncing the audio files themselves and without changing anything within the database and thus also the tags of the audio files?

After all my attempts to restore all album images on MMA this may solve my problem with it.

Otherwise I will have to re-synchronise all the content with my smartphone again, which is quite time-consuming.

Build 1071 includes a fix that'll hopefully resolve the remaining issue experienced by testers who were testing earlier betas may have missing artwork as a result of those earlier beta builds.

We released the beta last week so I expect that it should become approved within the next day or two.

I installed the new version 1071 yesterday. Unfortunately this still does not solve my problem with the missing album art.

I did a scan in MMA and also a synchronisation with MMW. Neither led to the desired result.

The pictures only appear for content that is newly synchronised between MMW and MMA. For older content there is still no album image displayed.

Can you _save_ a debug log for me? i.e. tap Help > Send logs > Save and then share it with me via the helpdesk. When you save a log (vs. sending a log) it includes a copy of your database.

Also, if you do so, can you tell me a couple of the files that are experiencing this missing artwork bug?
