Syncing playlists not doing tags?

So I have a bunch of songs in a playlist on my PC, and they have have tags with covers in it.

When I add them to a play list, and I transfer them to my phone.. I don't have the tags/covers anymore.
When I click on my Android and select the playlist i synched, then i don;t have any cover in it.
how can i make it so it adds the cover thats in the tag?
or is this all stored in media monkey DB, and not really updating the files ?

How did you transfer the files and what App are you using on Android? Do these files show in Files to Edit > DB/Tag Mismatches in MMW?

used the media Monkey sync option.

I updated all the tags with CTRL-S but still, once transferred, in samsung media player or the money app, i don't see the covers.

When I look in the play list in MM i see the covers,
but when i go to the phone playlists, and do properties, I don't see anything.

Are the covers actually saved to the files?

yes,

I can see it in Windows Explorer when the icons are all the covers i put into the tags.

here are 4 images as you can see they are in the original playlist, but not in the list that is sent over. or created.
i can't figure out why it's different.

looking at the files that monkey did on my phone, and I see it named files with 00 in the front, i do see the images in the file, there, so not sure what the program is doing..


copied the files manually in a folder to my phone, and now the monkey app is seeing all the covers.
but when i use the transfer playlist with the app, then it fails big time.

not sure why the samsung music app is not displaying it properly..

Hi,
Based on your pics Album Metadata is Empty, that can make big big issues depending on the app. My guess is that MMA/Samsung app assume default AA for unknown Albums, but can't be sure as I do not have Samsung phone.

but its the same behavior in the monkey App on Android.

The tags are getting messed up when transferred.
I transferred the files to folders on my phone, and I can see all the Art in the Monkey App.
Not in the Samsung app.

What settings do you have for Artwork on Sync?

also the odd thing is.

when i look in my playlist in Monkey, the cover is in the Tag.

when i look at the playlist that i copied to the phone, it has either no pic or a random pic and it states "unsaved image"

I don't see anywhere, that it needs to do with those tags, if i sync a play list.

aah.. think you gave me the answer.

I unchecked the top item. and checked save image into tag. and that seems to do the trick.
doing a new sync just to be sure..
