Portable mm5 as default mp3 player on win 11

I have the pathname of portable mm5 set for my default mp3 player. If mm5 is not running, win11 makes me select another app (with only the "just once" option displayed). If I choose MediaMonkey.exe, it loops telling me the same thing. I would have expected mm5 to be loaded and play my mp3. It appears this is related to this being a portable installation. If I load mm5 first, then it is used for my mp3 player. Is this as expected or a bug?

this usually arise because of portable installation of media monkey 5 on windows 11, try launching media monkey 5 before setting it as default mp3 player.

Please note that Portable MM5 is not announced itself to OS, so I would not be surprised that Windows 11 have some limitations for such apps
