Thanks for the reports on this. We've located the problem and expect to have an updated beta build tomorrow.

Thanks for the update, I think I'm going to stay off the Beta from now on. I know that's the risk you take using beta versions but it caused me such a headache trying to get my library back that I'd rather stick to stable builds from now on!
MMA - scan for updatedmedia files
Hi
Since recent update, build1205, I am constantly seeing an annoying popup every time I open the app.
"Mounted Storage 3235-3433 Scan for updated media files" with the option to Postpone or Check. If I select check, nothing happens and the message will repeat each time I open the app. Same if I select Postpone. Is this a bug in The update?

Re: "Scan for updated media files?" on every launch [#21140]
This is a bug in the beta update. A new beta build (1206) that includes a fix to this has been submitted to the Play store--hopefully it'll be approved later today.

fyi build 1206 has been approved--you should be able to get it through the play store. Does it solve the problem for you?

Hi,
I found that the Playstore was offering an updated version for "MediaMonkey", but not "MediaMonkey Pro". I thought I would be able to use the latter because of my Gold licence but I just went with the flow and had the Playstore update the MediaMonkey app.
Upon firing up the updated version, it asked me to scan the mounted storage, and I clicked on Postpone. The prompt then went away and MMA worked normally. Restarted MMA and the prompt did not appear so it seems that for me this particular fix has worked.
Cheers

The Pro App just unlocks paid features, so the updates are from the main App.

I've got version 2.0.1.1206 but I'm still getting the following message:
Mounted storage: 9C33-6BBD
Scan for updated media file?
It generally prompts me maybe 2 or 3 times one after another. Doesn't matter if I select 'Postpone or 'Scan'.
I have the app running in the background. I'm not sure the conditions under which the message appears, i.e. if I've not used the app for awhile or whether the phone has been on screen lock?

Hi,
Does the dialog appear repeatedly and endlessly? OR just a few times until the scan process has completed (this issue is already being worked on)?
If it's the former, and you're already updated to build 1206, can you run MM, replicate the bug, and then submit a debug log (from the menu, click Help > Send logs) and share the log ID here?
Thanks!

pust sent the debug log P91WFNTYMQ
Re: "Scan for updated media files?" on every launch [#21140]
Thanks!
So build 1206 fixed the continually appearing scan requests on a single screen. Build 1207 (currently rolling out) improves the situation further--clicking 'postpone' should cause the dialog not to appear again.
Can you confirm?

This should be completely resolved in build 1208 which is currently rolling out to beta testers.

hmm.... I'm no longer able to replicate this. Can you run MM, replicate the bug, and then submit a debug log (from the menu, click Help > Send logs) and share the log ID here?
Or did you already submit a log (on a Galaxy Tab A, running Android 10)?
Thanks!
